- We collect as little as possible and never sell personal data.
- We never collect passwords for your other accounts or your card number.
- Provider tokens are encrypted, and deleted when you disconnect.
- You can access, export or delete your data by emailing [email protected].
Who we are
This policy explains how Flizent (“we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit flizent.com, submit a sign-up request, or use the Flizent service. Flizent is operated by Flizent, who is responsible for your personal data. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Sign-up requests: the details you enter on our sign-up form, such as your name, work email, company, country, website, team size, number of websites, the platforms you use, the plan you are interested in and any message. We also record the approximate country your request came from, your browser type and the page that referred you.
- Account information: your name, email address, workspace name and role. Passwords for your Flizent account are stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash.
- Workspace content: websites, projects, requests, messages, files and activity you or your team create.
- Connection data: scoped access tokens for providers you connect, encrypted at rest, and the information we read through them, such as DNS records, certificate details and repository metadata.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and timestamps, used for security, the audit trail and to keep the service running.
- Billing data: plan and subscription status. Card details are collected and processed by our reseller, never by us.
We do not collect passwords for third-party accounts, and we do not buy data about you or build advertising profiles.
How we use it
We use personal data to provide the service you asked for: responding to your sign-up request and setting up your workspace, signing you in, showing your workspaces, connecting providers, sending service messages, preventing abuse, keeping an audit record and handling support and billing. We send product updates only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We use aggregated, non-identifying information to understand how the product is used and improve it.
Where laws such as the GDPR apply, our legal bases are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in running a secure and reliable service, compliance with legal obligations and, where required, your consent. Where other data protection laws apply, we process personal data in line with them.
Who we share it with
We share data only with service providers that help us run Flizent, under agreements that limit their use of it to providing services to us:
| Provider | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting for this website and the Flizent app | United States |
| Neon | Managed PostgreSQL database | United States |
| Cloudflare | DNS and file storage (R2) | Global network |
| Authorized reseller (Merchant of Record) | Checkout, payments, invoicing and tax | Shown at checkout |
Members of a workspace can see the content of that workspace according to their role. We do not sell personal data. We disclose data to authorities only when legally required and, where allowed, we will tell you first.
International transfers
Our service providers store data in the United States and on global networks. When data moves across borders, we rely on our providers’ contractual safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses where applicable.
How long we keep it
We keep sign-up requests for up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them, and move them into your account once your workspace is set up. We keep workspace data while your account is active. If a subscription ends or a workspace is closed, data remains available in read-only form for 90 days so you can export it, and is then deleted from our active systems. Backups roll off on their normal schedule. Disconnecting a provider deletes its stored token immediately. We keep billing records for as long as tax law requires.
Security
We protect data with encryption in transit and at rest, scoped and revocable provider access, and permission checks on every request. Details are on our security page. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to nominate someone to exercise your rights. We extend these rights to everyone, wherever they live.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority, though we would be grateful for the chance to resolve your concern first.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and it loads no third-party scripts or fonts.
The Flizent app uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in, remember your active workspace and protect against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.
Children
Flizent is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. For material changes we will notify account holders by email before they take effect and update the effective date above.
